Starter jackshaft bolts and related hardware for 1989 thru 1993 and 1994 thru 2006 Big Twin models.

Contrary to Evolution models it is not possible to move the transmission on Twin-Cam models to the left as these models have the transmission bolted to the crankcase. The Zodiac off-set kit enables you to move your primary 12, 25, 45 or 55mm without moving your stock or aftermarket 5 Speed transmission, or 25, 45 or 55mm when you have a 6 Speed Zodiac transmission or conversion. All these kits come with an extended transmission main shaft and extended transmission main drive 5th gear, leaving the transmission housing in exactly the same place but allowing you to offset the front final drive pulley, thus creating space for a wide rear tire. And when we say wide we mean WIDE. The 12mm off-set kit allows the use of a 200 tire with the stock belt in an Evolution or Twin-Cam frame, the 25mm offset kit allows a 230 wide tire on a 7.50 rim in both the Evolution and Twin-Cam frame if the late type « narrow » final drive belt drive is used. If a chain is used for the final drive the stock frames will accept up to 250 wide tires on a 9.00″ rim. The transmission main shaft and drive gear are CNC manufactured from High Stress 20CrMnT gear steel by one of the worlds leading automotive transmission factories. Gear and shaft are tempered and stress released to a core hardness of 35 to 45 Rockwell and have a surface hardness of 58 to 60 Rockwell. Our offset primary kits contain: primary spacer ring, extended crankshaft extension and extended crankshaft nut, extended transmission main shaft, extended main drive 5th gear with needle bearings and seal, extended belt pulley spacer, extended clutch push rod, extended starter jack shaft (only for 25, 45 and 55mm kits), starter jack spacer, primary-to-transmission spacers and all required hardware. The 45mm offset kits come with a 25mm offset maindrive gear and 3/4″ (19mm) offset drive pulley. When you have a 1991 thru 1993 model 5 Speed transmission you must order a countershaft 5th gear, extended starter jack shaft bolt and late style final drive pulley separately. Wide swingarm and fender struts must be ordered separately and can be found in this catalog.

Note: The 45mm extended main shaft is used with a 25mm extended main drive gear, a 25mm extended sprocket spacer and a ZPN193036 offset drive pulley.

This comprehensive wide tire conversion kit enables you to mount a 200 wide rear tire on a 6.25″ wide rim (tire then measures 220mm) in the stock Dyna frame and still keep the stock 1 1/8″ drive belt without trimming. If the wheel is slightly offset even 230 or 250 tires can be used. The kit contains everything you need, being a raw or black powder coated extra wide Swingarm, rear wheel axle, rear wheel axle adjusters, raw or powder coated fender struts that will take an up to 10 1/2″ wide fender, extended upper shock mounting studs, a complete 25mm primary offset kit with a primary spacer ring, extended crankshaft extension with extended crankshaft nut, extended transmission main shaft, extended main drive 5th gear with needle bearings and seal, extended belt pulley spacer, extended clutch push rod, starter jack extension, primary-to-transmission spacers and all required hardware to offset your primary, swing arm splash guard and spacers to offset the right hand side foot pegs and the exhaust. Also included are two different brake caliper brackets to allow the use either a 1991 thru 1999 or 2000-2005 stock or aftermarket rear brake caliper. The kit contains all parts for 1996-2005 models. When you want to use this kit on a 1991-1993 model you will have to order a late style final drive pulley, countershaft 5th gear and extended starter jack shaft screw separately. Installation on 1991 thru 1995 models require custom fabrication of fender struts. Wheel and fender are not included, we offer a wide variety of extra wide fenders, tires, rims and wheels for use with the wide swingarm, these can be found elsewhere in this catalog.
